James White is a native of Hopkinsville, KY. He grew up in Hopkinsville and attended Morningside Elementary, Booker T. Washington Middle School, Christian County Middle School, graduated from University Heights Academy in 1991. From there, he attended Harvard University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Government in 1995 and a Master’s of Education in 2001. Currently, James is the Directory of College Counseling at the Belmont Hill School in Belmont, Massachusetts. In addition, James has worked with the U.S. Department of Education in Washington D.C. and Prep for Prep and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity programs in New York City. He is also the Vice President for the Association of Independent Schools in New England, elected Massachusetts Representative to the College Board, and serves as the Directory of Educational Programming for the Greg Buckner Foundation. He has dedicated his life to working with children and his commitment to and belief in all youth is unconditional and unwavering.
